Exhibitionist on the loose

South Lake Tahoe police are looking for a man who exposed himself to people at two locations on Tuesday.

The first report was at Staples The Office Superstore in South Lake Tahoe at about 5 p.m. where the man, described as scruffy looking and in his late 30s, exposed himself to a woman in the parking lot, a police officer said.

The man was later seen exposing himself to customers at the parking lot of Grass Roots Natural Foods. Witnesses said the man was medium build with dark hair, unshaven, wearing a khaki jacket and khaki pants.

If anyone has information about the suspect, they are asked to call police at (530) 542-6110.

In other news:

— A South Lake Tahoe man was arrested Monday after allegedly using pepper spray on several people at a Bowers Avenue address.

The 25-year-old man reportedly sprayed people about 7 p.m. for no apparent reason, according to a South Lake Tahoe police officer. He was arrested on battery charges.

— Several juveniles were reportedly cutting down trees at D Street and Emerald Bay Road on Wednesday at 5:50 p.m. Officers advised the juveniles not to touch any more trees.

— Officers arrested a man on felony driving under the influence charges on Tuesday after he reportedly crashed his car into two parked cars on Harrison Street. The incident happened about 10 p.m.

— Police were called to a loud party in the 700 block of Tahoe Keys Boulevard at 12:29 a.m. Wednesday. The subject was advised to keep the noise down.

— A briefcase was reported stolen from an unlocked car on Susie Lake Road. The case contained various papers and coupons. It was valued at $55.
