TRUCKEE, Calif. — Kelly Brothers Painting, Inc. is an award-winning and nationally acclaimed paint contractor. More than a decade in business, this family continues to expand its vision of what a quality business can be to customers, community, and the building industry.
Owners Bill, Kevin, and Erin Kelly have worked with “the best of the best” providing reliability, quality and detail wrapped in a system that stays on schedule and achieves customer satisfaction.
Kelly Brothers Painting invites the community to their Open House on Thursday, March 13, 5-7 p.m.
The “Wearin’ of the Green” is appropriate to this Irish-themed event, with a Truckee Donner Chamber ribbon cutting and CATT Mixer celebrating the new Kelly Brothers’ Painting office building and shop, located at 11020 Trails End Ct. in the Pioneer Commerce Center.
Their new offices and shop is a fully functional showroom for the company’s services — from painting and staining, diverse floor stains and epoxy styles, fabric wall coverings, color consulting/design and the building itself. Kelly Brothers’ new construction division constructed the new building, which is CGBC (California Green Building Code) compliant.
The new spray booth is an exciting addition to their equipment fleet. It allows for in-house pre-staining and painting of woodwork, metals and large items, such as furniture and cabinets. It is environmentally safe with constantly filtered air and provides a premium professional finish.
The Kelly buildings are powered with solar energy from Simple Power, a division of Kelly Brothers Painting, Inc.
The Kelly’s business received more than $23,000 in rebates and tax credits from Truckee PUD and the Federal government for the system’s installation. Thanks to the sun, they have offset 50 percent of the energy required to power and heat their office, spray booth and the two upstairs apartments — effectively cutting their power bill in half. Here are the statistics since December: Cutting back on the carbon foot print offset the equivalent of 58 trees and created enough electricity to power 105 homes for a day
Erin Kelly, owner and sister of the Kelly Brothers states, “With this early spring weather we expect to be sending our estimators out soon for those exterior projects from re-coats to solar installation. We hope our customers will stop by our beautiful new location to see what we have to offer them to add value and design to their homes and businesses.”
It’s not business as usual at the Kelly Brothers, CATT Chamber mixer. The Best Dressed Irishman and Irishwoman will win cash. As stated on the promotional material: You don’t have to be Irish to win, but it helps … You better be lookin’ for those green socks. They’ll not be allowing anyone to prove they are “wearin’ the green” by showing their shorts. This is a respectable event — even if the Kellys are in charge.
They’ll be sharing a pot o’gold with fun, secrets, a prize or two and a bit of Irish magic.
Catch a shuttle from and to your car for convenience.
