Fibromyalgia support group sets meetings

A Fibromyalgia Support Group has been formed at the South Shore. The purpose of the group is provide an opportunity for people with the disorder to meet with others to discuss coping techniques and resources. Fibromyalgia is a condition that causes pain in the muscles, joints, ligaments and tendons. The pain occurs in certain parts of the body called tender points.
The next two meetings are scheduled from 6 to 7 p.m. May 11 and June 14 in the board room of the Skilled Nursing wing at Barton Memorial Hospital, 2170 South Ave.
