Creating your own wonderful handmade Lake Tahoe souvenir will be an experience and a joy at the Tahoe Tallac Association’s free “Art for All Ages” workshops scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to noon each Wednesday and Thursday, July 4 through Aug. 23. Advance reservations are not required.

“Art for All Ages” takes place on the patio of the Valhalla Boathouse Theater, off Highway 89 at the Tahoe Tallac Historic Site just north of Camp Richardson Resort. When you arrive at the site, at the water’s edge, you will feel the inspiration in the air. Be sure to arrive early, the lake in the morning is the perfect place to be inspired and to be creative.

All ages and artistic abilities are welcome and encouraged to join in the fun. Carol Foldvary-Anderson, artist, designer and arts educator has taught the workshops since the beginning. Her enthusiasm is contagious and she will provide projects and everything you need to unleash your creative spirit. Included will be paints, oil pastels, paper, pens, watercolors, fancy curling ribbons, scissors, hole punches and all kinds of fun materials to create a delightful handmade souvenir of your own while also creating memories of your wonderful Lake Tahoe vacation.

A $5 donation is welcome to help fund the arts and cultural activities the Tahoe Tallac Association provides to the community. For more information call (530) 541-4975. The Tahoe Tallac Association operates under permit with the USFS.
