History program honors Native American Women

The Douglas County Historical Society will honor Native American Women at during the “Women In History” program at 2 p.m. March 24 at the Carson Valley Museum and Cultural Center,1477 Hwy 395 N., Gardnerville).

Dat-so-la-lee, Clara Frank, Suzy Dick, Sue Coleman and Sarah Winnemucca will be the honorees. Diana Borges will present a Chautauqua of Sarah Winnemucca. The program is free.
