IN MEMORY : Michael Corey Glover

Michael Corey Glover was born on December 27, 1951 in Houston, Texas. He was 58 when he passed on September 21, 2010 in Carson City, NV.

The son of Douglas and Jaqueline Glover, an Air Force family that eventually resided at Mather Air Force Base in Sacramento, CA. He graduated in 1969 and married his high-school sweetheart from Folsom, Linda Baysinger, in 1976 and South Lake Tahoe became his home. He is survived by older brother Claude R. Glover and his two children; his daughter Corey R. McCauley, his son Douglas M. Glover and granddaughter born January 18, 2011, Danica McCauley.

He attained his masonry license in 1977 and he took much pride in his work throughout his life. He owned his own business, Glover Masonry from 1987 to 1996. In late 1980 there was a building permit freeze, he spent a handful of nights in harsh winter conditions with many locals in front of the local El Dorado Library to eventually attain a permit to build his dream home. His hobbies were cars (hot-rods), landscaping with stonework and in high school he was a track star with a record that still isn’t broken. A dedicated, humble and talented man who worked very hard to provide for his family throughout his lifetime. Rest in Peace Dad, we love and miss you!
