Sierra-at-Tahoe will hold a job fair Saturday, Oct. 21, and a Keep Sierra Clean Day Sunday, Oct. 22, at the resort located about 20 minutes west of South Lake Tahoe off U.S. 50.

The job fair is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will be held in the main lodge. Many jobs are available, including work in accounting, food and beverage, snow making, guest services, purchasing, security and ski and snowboard instruction to name a few.

All jobs can be viewed online and applications may be filled out in advance before attending the job fair at sierraattahoe.com/employment.com.

The Keep Sierra Clean Day free event will begin with registration at 10 a.m. at the Solstice Plaza. All who help will receive a free lunch, a chairlift ride to the top of the mountain, have an opportunity for prizes and a chance to check out a special winter gear sale.

Participants should wear sturdy footwear and be prepared to navigate steep and sometimes rocky terrain. Also recommended are work gloves, a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and water. Trash bags will be provided along with gloves and buckets if needed.

Unlimited skiing/riding season passes are also on sale for $459.
