Kudos & Kindness

To the editor:

On July 5 my sister, niece and I were in a head-on crash near the “Y.” Although we do not know individual names, we would like to extend our deep appreciation to those first on the scene. They called 911 and assisted my sister out of a jammed door.

Within minutes, the police, firemen and ambulance arrived. They quickly assessed the situation, treated the injuries and all with a very professional attitude. In the ER, a policewoman and firemen checked on our well-being.

Thank you all for your help and quick response.
