Tahoe South will round at the summer with a Labor Day fireworks show this weekend.

"This pyrotechnic exhibition explodes over Lake Tahoe after dusk and features a variety of patterns, shapes and designs," according to Tahoe South. "The show features a simultaneous music broadcast that can be heard on local stations KRLT-FM 93.9 and KOWL-AM 1490."

The show takes place Sunday night and is visible from all over the South Shore. Tahoe South recommends Nevada Beach, Timber Cove Marina, the Tallac Historic Site and Lakeview Commons among the best viewing spots. The Tahoe Queen, M.S. Dixie II and Edgewood-Tahoe Golf Course also offer viewing options, according to the Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce.

Bijou Community Park also offers a unique viewing experience away from the lake, but with plenty of entertainment options.

"Set back from the shoreline (the park) boasts a skate park, disc golf course, dog park, golf course, and playground to keep the whole family entertained while holding your ideal viewing spot," according to Tahoe South.
