Lake Tahoe weather: Rain possible today, cloudy conditions to linger through week

Lake Tahoe will start the week with cloudy conditions and a chance of rain.

Snow level on Monday, when the high temperatures in the region are expected to range between 48 and 58 degrees, will hover around 10,000 feet, according to a regional forecast from the National Weather Service. Southwest winds of 10 – 15 mph are possible, with gusts as strong as 35 mph. Gusts on ridges could be up to 65 mph.

In South Lake Tahoe specifically, the chance of precipitation is 30 percent Monday, with the greatest chance of rain coming between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., according to NWS. The high temperature is expected to reach 51 degrees. The low in South Lake Tahoe will fall to 41 degrees Monday evening.



The forecast for the Lake Tahoe region calls for cloudy conditions with high temperatures ranging from the mid-50s to low 60s through the rest of the week.
