Letter — Club Live thanks program sponsors

Tahoe Daily Tribune

Over the past several months South Tahoe Middle School Club LIve has many people they would like to publicly thank for their assistance and support of our program. Without their generous contributions many of the opportunities we have wouldn’t occur.

We would like to thank Les Wright of the Lake Tahoe Marathon for his continued financial support of our club. To Bill Lear, manager of Raley’s, and Buck Barkley of Barkley Meat Company for the donation of Thanksgiving turkeys during a November event. Thank you to Richard Bennett, manager of Rite Aid, and Mary Grant, assistant manager of Kmart, for their assistance during our shopping for the Alliance for the Mentally Ill and the Community Toy Drive.

Club Live would like to thank our community partners, the Alliance for Mentally Ill and Ordinary People meeting Extraordinary Needs, for providing the club excellent chances to work with great role models. Our club also appreciates the support of the South Tahoe Optimist Club. The Optimists have given club members many service opportunities and financial assistance.

Last, but not least, we would like to thank the many other adults who made contributions of time and talents to our club including Rogelio Garcia, Jeanie Prestella, Joe Pepi, Robin Barksdale, Corrine Butler, Sheila Bennett, Jean Beamer and many others.
