LETTER TO THE EDITOR: What about the rest of the class?

Once again the Tribune has gone for the sensational and titillating to sell newspapers instead of an in-depth article that our community would actually like to read. Your decision to publish a story about one South Tahoe High School senior project and place it front and center with photographs on the first page is so disappointing, especially when the entire high school graduation article only took up one-third of page 3.

What about the other 270 senior projects? What about the volunteer community members who give of their time each year to judge these projects? We have so many remarkable young people in this town. It’s a shame you chose to focus on just one.
