Local businesses to light up the South Shore

For the upcoming holiday season, Leadership Lake Tahoe participants are asking local businesses from Stateline to the “Y” to hang lights and decorations.

Participating businesses will receive up to 200 feet of white LED lights and are asked to install them along with any other holiday decoration they wish to add. Lighting displays will be judged and each participating business is automatically entered in a contest for the “Best Lights on the Lake” trophy. Lights will be delivered by Nov. 20th. Business owners are asked to install the lights, but assistance is available upon request.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Tahoe Turning Point, a nonprofit agency that provides group care and residential treatment for young men age 12 to 18.

There are several sponsorship opportunities available.
