Middle schoolers hit the starting line

The third annual Tah Neva Middle School Championships will be held at Kahle Park cross-country course today. The race will host fifth- through eighth-graders as 14 schools with 400 runners compete in 2.13-mile or 2.63-mile races.

Runners will push off from a grass starting line and finish at Kahle Park. The course is 90 percent dirt trail, or mud depending on today’s weather, and boast stretches known as Deadman’s hill and Whoa Mama hill. AD Sports Tahoe will host to the event. For more details visit ADsportstahoe.com.
