Mighty Mites keep it close

The South Tahoe Mighty Mites lost a hard fought game to the Carson Senators 21-18. Both teams scored three touchdowns, but the difference maker was the point after touchdown. Carson converted all three extra points while South Tahoe was unable to convert any of its extra points.

The South Tahoe Mighty Mites fought to the very last play, and Jake Tarwater and Malachi Womack almost pulled it off in the final minutes.

The Mighty Mites had strong performances from Troy Dingman, Isiah Daley, Ryan Aguila and Jake Whisnant on offense.

The Mighty Mites’ defense turned in big hits from Zackary Klug, Jace Kezar, Jeremy Smiley and Liam Molesworth.

The Mighty Mites will be playing at home again on Saturday at South Tahoe High School at 5 p.m.
