Minister’s Forum: Recognize the existence of God
October 13, 2008
The Bible says, “The Heavens declare the glory of God.” Everywhere in the world at any place or time when man looks up at the canopy of space, “the heavens declare the glory of God.” Into this infinite universe, with its spiraling galaxies, is the signature of God written across the face of eternity.
Day after day and night after night, there is something being said that every person can hear, and there is something being taught that every man can understand: God exists!
Painted on the canvases of this celestial sky to astound us all is glory, “the glory of God.” Clearly in every speech, in every language, in every nation is being said, “God is there.” He dwells in majesty and beauty without beginning or end of days.
Sovereign God of the universe, the only God in all of his own with no equals, no rivals, he is our creator, and we are his creation.
As the great conductor of the universe, God created the worlds in color and personality that man might enjoy life to the fullest. He made our own terrestrial galaxy, the Milky Way, as a tabernacle with the sun, in a fireworks display shooting off across the sky. As a strong man to run a race, of the joys of a bridegroom coming out of his chambers, life was not given to be lived in mediocrity, but in great celebration and excitement.
Which one of us has not watched the sun come up or go down, nor has seen the sun exploding in radiant, dazzling light? Who has not felt that he was peering into the very heights of heaven and being summoned into paradise?
