Mott Canyon makes its debut

With 2.5 feet of snow dropping last week, Heavenly opened its expert-only, double black diamond terrain of Mott Canyon to skiers and riders Sunday for the first time this season. For Mott Canyon footage check out http://youtu.be/glYswv90jNw.

Heavenly currently has more than 1,100 acres open across both the California and Nevada sides, with access to the mountain via Stagecoach, California and the Gondola.
