Obit — Lucille M. ‘Lou’ Lynch

Graveside services were conducted Feb. 12 at Cottage Grove, Ore., for Lucille M. “Lou” Lynch, who died Feb. 8, 2003, of age-related causes. She was 88.

Mrs. Lynch was born July 11, 1914, at Loyal, Wis., to Harry and Agnes Flaherty Stoneburg. She graduated from Cottage Grove High School in 1932, and married John Lynch in Sparks, Nev., on May 3, 1941. She lived at Lake Tahoe, Calif., for 47 years before returning to the Cottage Grove area in 1982. She and her husband managed Jewell Heights at Lake Tahoe for 10 years and she later worked as cosmetics buyer for Shelleys Drug Store. She enjoyed trips to the Oregon Coast and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by two sisters, Betty Deere and Yvonne Eller, both of Cottage Grove. She was predeceased by her husband in 1974.
