August 30, 1922 – August 18, 2012

Les passed away peacefully in the care of Saint Mary’s Hospice at the Carson Valley Senior Living in Gardnerville, NV where he resided the last five years.

Les was a devoted, proud and loving son, husband, father and grandfather, as well as a loyal friend, dedicated employee and always the gentleman with a twinkle in his eye and a huge sense of humor. He was a man content with himself and his life. Les showed by example how to live a life with kind love, strength, honesty and integrity.

Les was a WWII Veteran. He was lead singer and played drums in the Navy Band on the Admiral’s ship. An employee of Harrah’s, South Shore, Lake Tahoe for 38 years and retired as Assistant Maitre d’ of the South Shore Room.

Les will always be in our hearts – Elizabeth Aamot-Stuck, Roberta Louise Marquis, Lester and Patti Stuck, Susanne Stuck, Dianne Ahlem, Richard Ray Stuck (deceased), Valerie Allen-Cole and the grandchildren.

A toast to Les for 90 years of a life well lived will be held Saturday, October 20, at Tep’s Villa Roma, 3450 Lake Tahoe Blvd., South Tahoe, CA, 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Come and share your stories of Les with his family and friends.
