Obituary — Pauline Eleanore Carlquist

Celebration of Life services will take place Feb. 23 for Pauline Eleanore Carlquist, who died Feb. 18, 2003. She was 83 years old.

Pauline was born Feb. 14, 1920 in Connecticut and lived in Pleasant Hill, Calif. prior to moving to South Lake Tahoe, where she lived for the past 20 years. She belonged to the South Lake Tahoe Senior Center and was membership chairwoman for the Tahoe Senior Association. She was a member of the Red Cross Grey Ladies from 1965 to 1970 and also worked with Meals on Wheels. Pauline was a longstanding member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in South Lake Tahoe.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Jean Will of Concord, Calif; son, Richard Carlquist of Connecticut; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Schneider, and parents, Frank and Julia Brecht.

Celebration of Life services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 23 at the South Lake Tahoe Senior Center, 3050 Lake Tahoe Boulevard. The family asks that you bring an “I remember Pauline” story.

Arrangements are by Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society in Carson City, Nev.
