On the Hill, brought to you by the Tahoe Center for Orthopedics, brings you a video report showcasing Tahoe's ski conditions every day.
Breakdown: Join Tahoe Daily Tribune reporter Brian Hamilton for a run down Mombo at Heavenly. Staying on the upper mountain is going to be the best bet for today. Near the summit they received an inch of snow, but as you drop to lower elevations, it rained, and the snow is not as good.
Heavenly official report: 1” in past 24 hours
Field report: Higher up on the mountain it is nice and soft, but lower down it rained.
Weather: Sunny and currently 36 degrees. The predicted high today is 38 degrees.
Liftline status: No crowds and no lines.
Snowcast: More snow is coming tonight, but snow levels may once again be a problem. Tune in for tomorrow’s update to see how it comes down.
