On the Hill: Grab your snowshoes for Angora Lakes' hike

On the Hill, brought to you by the Tahoe Center for Orthopedics, brings you a video report showcasing Tahoe's ski conditions every day.

Breakdown: Join Tahoe 'On the Hill' reporter Drew Hanley for a winter hike up to Angora Lakes.

Field report: The hike back to the upper lake took about two hours. Snowshoes would have helped as there is still enough snow on the trail to slow you down, but it's doable without if you choose. No one on the trail makes for a serene day!

Weather: Cold at the lake today; just 33 for the high. A storm last night dumped up to 5" at some ski resorts so check before you head out.

Snowcast: More snow on the way tonight, changing to rainy conditions in the next few days.
