On the Hill: Storm moving into Tahoe!


On the Hill, brought to you by the Tahoe Center for Orthopedics, brings you a video report showcasing Tahoe's ski conditions every day.

Breakdown: Join Tahoe 'On the Hill' reporter Matt Hardy for a cruise down Lumberjack at Northstar Resort. Snow guns are going full blast and it is SNOWING! Lumberjack was groomed with new snow and new snowmaking

Northstar official report: 0" new snow overnight, 0" in last week

Tahoe Daily Tribune field report: Feels like winter! Groomed runs and a dusting of new snow are making for a great surface.

Liftline status: Big Springs Express gondola and Vista Chair weren't crowded at all this morning, and not likely to change until the weekend.

Weather: Snowy and windy today, with temps the low 20s

Snowcast: NOAA is reporting low temperatures for the rest of the week. The current storm is forecasted to produce 3-9 inches by midnight. There is another storm moving in on Friday afternoon through Saturday that could produce another 6-12 inches.
