Kudos & Kindness: Realty group adopts-a-beach

Thank you to Deb Howard Realty Group for participating in the newly launched “Adopt-a-Tahoe-Beach” program. The group of volunteers from Deb Howard cleaned Tallac Beach on Sunday, June 22 and collected over nine pounds of refuse. Deb Howard Realty Group has pledge to adopt-a-beach monthly in Lake Tahoe.

The City of South Lake Tahoe, Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority, League to Save Lake Tahoe, the U.S. Forest Service Basin Management Unit, and Douglas County launched the “Adopt-a-Tahoe-Beach” program as a result of the recent concern over the fireworks display clean-up efforts in Lake Tahoe. Groups, organizations, business, families, or individuals are invited to participate in clean-up efforts. Supplies will include buckets and trash grabber tools, which will be available at both Lake Tahoe Visitor Centers in California at 3066 Lake Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150 or call 530-544-5050 ext. 223.
