Pilates studio opens in Nephele’s Center
November 13, 2009
Pamela’s Pilates opened its doors in October in the Nephele’s Center. Owner Pamela Amsden is certified through the STOTT method of Pilates, and has been trained in mat and equipment-based Pilates. She also teaches mat Pilates at Lake Tahoe Community College.
Amsden’s equipment-based studio features a stability chair, two reformers and a cadillac trapeze table. Classes are private or semi-private and are by appointment only.
She lists the benefits of Pilates as core strength and stability, mind-body awareness, stress and pain relief, increased self confidence and effective as a post-rehabilitation exercise.
Amsden is offering a grand-opening discount with each 10-class package.
The studio is located at 1169 Ski Run Blvd., cottage 2. She can be reached (530) 721-0591 and at firstname.lastname@example.org.
