South Lake Tahoe police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of taking surreptitious photos underneath the door of a women’s dressing room late last month.

On the afternoon of Aug. 26, the man allegedly placed a camera underneath a dressing room door at a clothing store on the 3500 block of Lake Tahoe Boulevard, according to an email from Detective Jeff Roberson. The boyfriend of the woman in the changing room then confronted the man, causing him to run from the store, Roberson said.

The suspect then got into a silver Toyota sedan and fled the area, Roberson said.

Police have been unable to identify the suspect and ask anyone with information about this case to call Officer Allen Molesworth at 530-542-6100 or Secret Witness at 530-541-6800.
