Schedule announced for Christmas truck

The Christmas fire truck schedule has begun to make its rounds at local neighborhoods.

The truck leaves station 2 at 5 p.m. each day and will stop at 8 p.m. The truck locations are subject to change due to bad weather or may not run in the case of an emergency, but they are usually on schedule, a press release stated. The truck appeared in the Keys/Venice neighborhood Tuesday.

The schedule is as follows:



Dec. 10: Keys / Venice

Dec. 11: Glenwood



Dec. 12: Keys Boulevard / state streets

Dec. 13: South “Y” / Tata

Dec. 14: Barton / Tahoe Island

Dec. 15: Al Tahoe Boulevard

Dec. 16: Springwood / Bijou Pines

Dec. 17: Main areas / Highway 50

Dec. 18: Stateline / hotels

Dec. 19: Ski Run Boulevard

Dec. 20: Heavenly Valley

Dec. 21: Gardner Mountain

Dec. 22: Sierra Tract

Dec. 23: Stateline / Pioneer Trail

Dec. 24: Lake Tahoe Boulevard
