Soroptimists set date for wine tasting

Soroptimist International of South Lake Tahoe will kick off its 35th annual “An Evening of Food and Wine Tasting” Nov. 4 at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe special events center. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the fund-raiser will continue until 9:30 p.m.

The year the event will feature 25 wineries and 20 local restaurants as well as a live auction and a silent auction with art, jewelry, trips, personal service packages and more.

Tickets are $65 per person and everyone must be at least 21 years of age to attend. Tickets will be available Sept. 14 and may be purchased from any member of Soroptimist International of South Lake Tahoe. You may also go to the Web site at SISLT.org and download a fax form to purchase tickets with a credit card. All tickets ordered by credit card now will be billed and mailed out after Sept. 14.



SISLT is a 50l(c)(3), nonprofit organization and all donations are tax deductible. All donations to the event help the service club support the community.
