South Shore garage rockers Thick as Thieves play free at Whiskey Dick’s

South Shore’s own Thick as Thieves are set to play a free show at South Lake Tahoe’s Whiskey Dick’s Saloon this Saturday.
The duo primarily plays garage rock but draws from a variety of genres.
“This explosive duo out of South Lake Tahoe have been playing their edgy garage-rock for local venues over the last three years,” according to a press release for Saturday’s show from promoter Late-Nite Productions. “With an ever-expanding variety of music from all over the rock spectrum, Thick as Thieves can hardly be characterized into one genre of music. They are versatile with their sound and can be seen playing anywhere from music festivals on the beach, Tahoe area ski resorts, and this weekend at Whiskey Dick’s Saloon.”
Tahoe Blue Vodka drink specials will be offered all night long.
Whiskey Dick’s will host several free shows on Saturday nights through the ski season showcasing a variety of local and regional bands in a variety of genres. Reno funk and soul act Mojo Green plays the bar next Saturday, Feb. 13; Punk rockers South Shore Riot are set to play Saturday, Feb. 20; string band Hare of the Dawg plays Saturday, March 10, and San Francisco reggae act Audiodub performs Saturday, March 19.
Whiskey Dick’s is located at 2660 Lake Tahoe Blvd., in South Lake Tahoe.
