South Shore resorts open terrain features

South Shore ski resorts are breaking out the big guns this weekend.
Heavenly Mountain Resort and Sierra-at-Tahoe Ski Resort are unveiling some big updates.
Heavenly is all set to open it’s new 18-foot halfpipe in High Roller on Saturday. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at noon, a disc jockey and a halfpipe test run from High Roller Team member Kyle Smaine.
Meanwhile, Sierra-at-Tahoe has now opened Bashful Park. The park features a large jump line and medium-to-large features and jibs. Bashful is brought to you and tested by a the Park Crew, a team ranked fifth by TransWorld SNOWboarding.
