Doubles leads Vikings to win

The doubles teams paved the way for a South Tahoe win on Tuesday.

Led by a group of doubles teams that went undefeated in three rounds, te boys tennis team defeated Wooster 13-5 at home.

No. 1 doubles team Kyle Swain and Colton McHugh won their first two matches 6-0 and 6-1. McHugh then teamed up with junior Bryce Kortge to win match three 6-2.



No. 2 doubles team Ryan Piazzo and Trevor Garon won all three matches, going 6-2, 6-3 and 6-2.

No. 3 doubles team Gabriel Tenocelotl and Morgan Petragallo also went undefeated, winning all three rounds 6-1.



Singles player Chad Kaassamani and Adam Jarrett dropped their first matches, but both rebounded with wins in the second round. Kaassamani added another point with a 6-0 win in the final round.

Singles player Louie Marin notched a point for South Tahoe with a 6-1 win in his first round.
