Whittell raises $10,000 at ACC
There was nothing glamorous about it, but Whittell High School raised an impressive amount of money by cleaning up at the American Century Championships last week. Faculty, students, parents and even the principal rolled up their sleeves last week to keep Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course clean during the week-long celebrity golf tournament. The sticky soda running down their arms and messy labor was all worth it, however, when the school finished with $10,000 for the effort.
