Tahoe bands hit Mo’s Place on Thursday

Tim Parsons

Early morning rock stars Kings of Midtown on the set of their video "Face Forward," to be released June 1.

Roots rock fans can check out the video or go see Kings of Midtown live.

The trio performs at 9 p.m. Thursday, April 26 in Mo’s Place at South Lake Tahoe.

It recently completed a video shot at Kirkwood Mountain Resort, the Blue Water Bistro pie, Regan Beach and Brandi Brown’s Tahoe Production House. The members – Zach Barnhill, Russ Kai and Chris Pollock – donned and displayed products from four major sponsors.

The video trailer for “Face Forward” can be seen on Facebook and YouTube. It will be available June 1 on iTunes.

“It’s about facing your fears and not letting anything get in your way,” Barnhill said.

If the headliners are Kings of Midtown, the South Lake Tahoe band Stoop Kids are royalty from Classic Cue, the venue it has rocked on several Thursday nights.
