Tahoe Choir to present ‘My Favorite Things’

Tahoe Choir will perform concerts on Friday and Sunday.

This year’s performance is titled “My Favorite Things” and features musical numbers chosen by director Linda Mitchell. The music ranges from sublime to general silliness. A madrigal group will perform four pieces, and the concert will feature solos, duets and small ensembles. The concert will be accompanied by Sally Parker.

Friday’s concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Lake Tahoe Community College and Sunday’s concert will take place Sunday, Dec. 2, at 3 p.m. at St. Theresa’s.



Tickets cost $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students. Children are admitted free. Tickets are available at the box office. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to the concert.
