TahoeChamber announces participants in 2013-14 Leadership Lake Tahoe Class

TahoeChamber has announced the participants for the Leadership Lake Tahoe Class of 2013-14.

This year's class consists of 25 applicants who will begin the program next month. Leadership Lake Tahoe is an intensive 10-month experience in which participants meet for one full class day per month. Each month brings up a new community topic such as government, education, social services and community resources, tourism, environment and transportation, public safety, economic development and redevelopment, media and communication. Specialized leadership skills such as time management, understanding work style differences, advanced communication skills, diversity, marketing, and generational differences in the workforce will also be covered, according to TahoeChamber. Activities will include taking part in planning and implementing the first Leadership Summit for Lake Tahoe.
