Think you’re funny?

Have you always wanted to try improv comedy? Do you watch the guys on “Who’s Line Is It Anyway?” and think, “I could do that”? Do you think you’re funny? More importantly, do other people think you’re funny?

Then come to the Spontaneous Combustion Improv Comedy Troupe open call from 7 to 9 p.m. May 5 at the El Dorado County Library, 1000 Rufus Allen Blvd. For more information call Jen at (775) 901-0517.

Spontaneous Combustion, formerly the Tahoe Improv Players, is Lake Tahoe’s premiere (and only) improv comedy group. Troupe members’ goal is to have fun, meet new people and challenge themselves. Improv is something that can be learned.

You don’t have to be a genius right off the bat – we’ll teach you the tricks. Theater experience is helpful, but not necessary.

Even if you never want to do improv in front of an audience, you can still come to the workshop with us and have fun – all we’re missing is you.
