This week’s action: Local music and live entertainment on tap for South Lake Tahoe
November 3, 2016
Entertainment this week is perfect for those needing to relax and rejuvenate after a crazy Halloween weekend. If you missed MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa’s 38th annual Freaker’s Ball, or just can’t remember it, check out page 13 for highlights.
Here are three fun picks for the week:
1. Tahoe’s off-season
It’s a little too chilly to spend much time on the lake, but the Basin also hasn’t seen enough snow for you to hit the slopes just yet. From magic shows and parties to low-key local shopping, these are activities you won’t want to miss leading up to the winter season.
More information is available on page 7.
2. Local music
Reggae band Through the Roots jams the Whiskey Dicks Saloon stage this weekend, and the Bread and Butter Band rocks at Lakeside Inn and Casino.
Learn more about the concerts on pages 10 and 5, respectively.
3. ElectroSwing Burlesque
Tahoe’s prominent revue show is back at The Loft, where performances are held every other Wednesday. The show takes place in a speakeasy-style lounge and is a great way to spend a night in the Basin.
