Authorities: Burglars hit 3 Tahoe City businesses

TAHOE CITY, Calif. — Authorities are offering a $1,000 reward for information regarding three commercial burglaries that occurred late last week in Tahoe City.

According to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office, burglars broke out windows at three businesses at Cobblestone Mall, at 495 North Lake Blvd. in downtown, either late Thursday night or early Friday morning.

An unknown number of burglars entered Tahoe Rug Gallery and Kalifornia Jean Bar, while Bluestone Jewelry showed signs of an attempted entry, according to a PCSO press release, and “some merchandise” was taken.
