Tree lighting to be held in Meyers

The third annual Meyers Tree Lighting will be held Friday from 5-7 p.m. in the Divided Sky/Downtown Café parking lot.

The Christmas fire truck and Santa, via the Cal Star helicopter, will return and music will be playing, according to a press release. Complimentary popcorn and hot cocoa will be served. The event is free and open to the public.

This year's event is sponsored by the Meyers Community Foundation, formerly the Meyers Community Alliance, created to advocate for and promote and serve the needs of the Meyers residential and business communities by supporting the implementation of grassroots projects and those outlined in the Meyers Community Plan.
