Warm, breezy weather to continue through weekend
June 13, 2007
Warm weather is expected today with sunny skies, but becoming breezy this afternoon. Expect generally light lake breezes this morning with westerly winds in the 15 to 25 mph range by afternoon which may make for some rough water on Lake Tahoe.
Highs will be in the upper 70s to lower 80s with lows tonight in the upper 30s to upper 40s.
For the rest of this week and into the weekend, it looks like the Pacific Northwest low is going to dominate our weather, suppressing the four-corners high pressure well to our south and east. What this means for our area is continued dry conditions, breezy afternoons and warm, but not hot conditions.
Any thunderstorm activity should remain confined to the favored areas near Bridgeport the next several days, as there will be nothing to spread the chances of precipitation north into our area.
