Widowed Persons Association open to new members
Ryan Summerlin November 8, 2012
The Widowed Persons Association of California, South Lake Chapter No. 17, is accepting new members.
According to a press release, members know what it means to lose a spouse and how long and hard the road is to a new an independent life. They are there to listen, lend a hand, and let you talk, cry or rage. Members know the grieving process well because each of them has lived through it.
The motto of WPAC is “A grief shared is a grief diminished,” because members have discovered that widowed people need the companionship and understanding of those who have also loved and lost and lived to become strong and vital people.
The South Lake Tahoe Chapter maintains an active social calendar. For more information, call 530-542-4912.
