Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care will be conducting its 24th annual training seminar on May 31 and June 1. The seminar will be titled “Care of Orphaned and Injured Wild Birds and Animals.”
Executive Director Cheryl Millham, founder of the non-profit organization, will conduct the training session focused on the three R’s of wildlife care — Raise, Rehabilitate and Release. Persons interested in becoming an active part of the volunteer organization are required to take this course as a prerequisite.
Class fee is only $50 for adults (16 years of age and older). Pre-registration is a must due to the limited size of the training facility. For further information call (530) 577-CARE (that’s 577-2273).
