Editor’s note: Women’s Fund El Dorado has clarified that these grants are only available to nonprofits on the western slope.
This year, the Grants Committee will distribute $40,000 in youth development and $10,000 divided among services for women and children, seniors, and physical and mental health. Women’s Fund El Dorado is a philanthropic organization based on the principal of collective giving and operates under the umbrella of the El Dorado Community Foundation. The organization’s Grants Committee researches various nonprofit and educational requests to fund specific programs and then determines which will appear on each year’s ballot.
