Pato Banton and the Now Generation play the Crown Room

Pato Banton and the Now Generation will bring a free show filled with positive messages to the Crystal Bay Casino Crown Room on July 26, according to a press release from the casino.

This show is in honor of the marriage of Todd and Sharon Beeman. Todd Beeman is the brother of Blake Beeman, the man behind the sound at the Crystal Bay Casino for the past 10 years. Blake Beeman arranged the party and will welcome guests to celebrate his brother’s marriage.

With the release of his new album “Destination Paradise,” Pato Banton has embarked on a musical and spiritual mission across the U.S., according to the release. At the beginning of his mission, Banton decided to create a new band called “The Now Generation,” which is made up of drummer Tony Saenz, bass guitarist Mikey Ortiz, recorder and performer Antoinette Hall, guitarist Daniel Lopilato, Beeken the “Saxmachine,” Trumpet Bryan and Eddie Farmer on trombone. At times Pato also incorporates the talents of percussionist Oneko Arika and the harmonies of Empress Akua and April Harmony, who were also featured on “Destination Paradise.”

Pato Banton and The Now Generation are making their way across the country attempting to uplift the masses with a warm message of love and positivity, according to the release.
