KINGS BEACH, Calif. — The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe demonstrated unwavering support of Boys & Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe events, including the recent Community Thanksgiving and Harvest Fest.

The Ritz-Carlton’s Community Footprints Program has become an amazing partner for BGCNLT, taking the events over the top. Community Footprints strives to make contributions that leave an imprint on the community, they achieve this ten-fold by providing constant and quality support at BGCNLT.

With their help:

950 people enjoyed Harvest Fest, with Community Footprints volunteers in costume, running all games, managing the entrance at the haunted house and helping with clean up.

Thanksgiving the program offered spectacular food contributions, cooked all 21 turkeys, 800 pieces of pie and delicious sides with volunteers who cooked, set up, served and cleaned.

600 community members enjoyed a complete Thanksgiving feast.

The long dining tables were full of Tahoe residents from all walks of life, sharing a meal and enjoying the evening’s pleasant atmosphere.

The BGCNLT thanks Club Chef Christin Wilcox for her fifth year of amazing Thanksgiving cooking and the Florsheim Brothers Foundation for supporting this event. Another shout out goes to friends of the Club who donated turkeys to make the meal complete.
