On the Hill: At Sugar Bowl, no new snow, but Lake View still rules

On the Hill, brought to you by the Tahoe Center for Orthopedics, brings you a video report showcasing Tahoe's ski conditions every day.

Breakdown: Join Tahoe 'On the Hill' reporter Matt Hardy for a quick morning run down Lake View at Sugar Bowl. Six lifts spinning, 26 trails open (14 groomed).

Sugar Bowl’s official report: 0" overnight, 0" in last week.

Field report: Temperature inversion, great groomed runs with a few chalky off-piste runs (thin cover).

Weather: Sunny with temperatures warming in to the 50s.

Liftline status: Jerome Hill Express and Lincoln Express had no lines.

Snowcast: Look for a small storm to form around Jan. 7. Warm and sunny weather until then.
