Saucy tales, captivating skits to highlight Historical Haunted Tour

California’s fifth Historical Haunted Tour will thrill attendees on Thursday, Oct. 16 and Friday, Oct. 17. The Tour celebrates bygone days in the bustling railroad town with captivating stories offering spooky and unexpected twists.

This year’s anticipated performances will take place in BeSpoke, Bluestone Jewelry, LaGalleria, the sacred Masonic Lodge 200, the Railroad Depot, Tahoe Oil & Spice and The Truckee Hotel. The script is tightly sealed, however the producer is sharing some teasers.

Musician Richard Blair will treat guests to an unforgettable song inspired by the wild women of Truckee. Tales from more than four decades will emerge from Truckee Hotel’s longest running resident who has seen it all from middle of the night skirmishes to haunted evenings.

“Expect clandestine affairs, carousing, gun fights and tales before untold,” said sponsor and Tour producer Christina Stoever-Young of Sunshine Tahoe. Stoever-Young encourages guests to visit the Tour blog for more insights.

Individual Historical Haunted Tour tickets are available for $40 and private VIP Tours can be reserved for up to 16 people for $1,000. Visit www.truckeehistorytour.org for tickets. Event proceeds benefit Trails and Vistas, a non profit offering art hike experiences in nature and art hikes for third-grade students.

The Tour’s lodging partners, The Truckee Hotel and The Hampton Inn & Suites Tahoe Truckee are offering special deals, which include a complimentary bottle of wine for Historical Haunted Tour attendees and reduced rates. Visit truckeehistorytour.org for details and contact the hotels directly for reservations.

The incredible dedication of regional businesses and passionate volunteers contribute to the Tour’s success.
