Incline Village Notes: America’s most beautiful bike ride

Yes folks, the first bike ride around the lake is on Sunday, June 4.
America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride kicks off our summer season of bike events. Just grab your beach blankets, picnic baskets and head to your favorite beach, walking will be the best way to get around the village most of this summer. The welcome mat is out for road construction!
The Incline Village General Improvement District (IVGID) and Rotary Incline-Tahoe annual town cleanup is from 9 a.m. to noon. Saturday, June 3.
Sign in begins at 8 a.m. at the Recreation Center. Plastic bags will be provided, and locations will be assigned. Please wear long pants, long-sleeve shirts, wide brim hat, work or garden gloves and sunscreen.
The annual Classy Garage Sale, the North Lake Tahoe Community Health Care Auxiliary’s fundraiser, is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, in the parking lot at the Incline Village Community Hospital.

Incline’s first 5K Color Run/Walk is at 9 a.m. on Sunday, June 11, at Incline Middle School. After the run, there will be a Strawberry Festival with games, food, raffle, and a silent auction.

Randi Thompson, Nevada State Director of the National Federation of Independent Business, will speak on “The Impact of the 2017 Session on Small Business” at the June meeting of the Incline Village/Crystal Bay Republican Women at 5 p.m. on June 13.
The meeting will be an evening garden party at a home on the Championship Golf Course and includes a catered dinner.
