Fans of the Eagles have plenty of hits to choose from, and one of the best-selling groups of all time will put those hits on display at Harveys Lake Tahoe Friday and Saturday.
The band’s “History of the Eagles — Live in Concert” tour includes two stops at Lake Tahoe’s South Shore this week.
The tour launched in connection with “History of the Eagles,” an award-winning 2013 documentary about the group.
The film screened at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival and was released on DVD in April of that year. The tour of the same name began July 6, 2013.
“The Eagles — Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit — will perform classics spanning their career, including some that have never been performed live, as well as songs featured in ‘History of the Eagles,’ the band’s acclaimed, top-selling documentary,” according to an announcement for the tour.
A set list from the band’s Tacoma, Wash., show on Aug. 25 included two encores and nearly 30 songs. Monster hits like “Life in the Fast Lane,” “Hotel California” and “Take It Easy” all appeared toward the end of the performance.
This week’s Eagles shows wrap up the annual Harveys Lake Tahoe Outdoor Concert Series.
