Beautifying the Boulevard

Two buildings on recently-acquired California Tahoe Conservation property have been scheduled for demolition.

Joe Pepi, CTC’s program coordinator/associate environmental planner, said Tuesday that the buildings that housed Tahoe Psychics and Heads Up Smoke Shop at 2122 Lake Tahoe Boulevard.

Pepi said both businesses have relocated.



Everything from the buildings to the asphalt driveways will be removed, and be considered undeveloped property until future plans are made.

The Fantasy Inn recently completed a major remodel of all its rooms, and with it a name change and a prominent new sign.



Now called the POSTMARC Hotel and Spa, the 22-year-old business rebranded itself with an updated Lake Tahoe attitude.

Trans-Sierra Investments, Inc., owner and operator of Heavenly Village, and PR Entertainment will invest $1 million into creating a live entertainment venue at the Heavenly Cinema. The new venue will host two magic shows a night. PR Entertainment hopes to have it complete by November.
